THE STEP‑BY‑STEP PROCESS
1. Get your evaluation. You need a Substance Use Evaluation and a drug test.
2. Get letters. Ask 3–6 people to write letters saying you don’t drink or use and that you changed your life.
3. Fill out the hearing form. This tells the State you want your license back. You can fill out online or print it.
4. Upload your papers. Put your evaluation, drug test, letters, and form into the SOS website. MI SOS uses DAIS Portal.
5. Go to your hearing. You can do it on video or phone.
6. Wait for the answer. The State will mail you the decision
